Steve Fonyo, who ran across Canada to raise millions for cancer research, dead at 56. Fonyo, who lost a leg to cancer, was appointed to the Order of Canada but it was revoked after several convictions. Fonyo's niece says he had an apparent seizure and could not be revived.

Covid is important but we need to move on to deeper issues. We face the complete collapse of earth's systems leading to the collapse of civilization within 50 years. Democracies are falling around the world, including south of the border. We act now or we face the end.
