It’s #InternationalCatDay! Our furry friends can be a sensitive subject… in 1935 Mr Herratt lost ‘Tibby’, a cat belonging to Mrs Price of Rhyl. As compensation, she wanted £3 to purchase ‘a pet of her liking’ (more than £200 today) but Mr Herratt thought the sum ‘excessive’!

Our monthly meeting is at Brynteg Memorial Hall on 8/8/22 at 10am. The talk will be on “The History of Lake Vyrnwy” by Simon Baynes. Following the coffee break there will be a tribute to our late chairman Jim Nuttall, who sadly passed away last month.
