Apparently, Daniel Hmar, the then Assistant Commandment of the 86th CRPF battalion at Lamphel has been promoted to Deputy Commandment and is now posted in Sonitpur, Assam.

Unfortunately this national security fight of India is put on the shoulders of the Manipur Police CDOs alone while 10s of 1000s of central paramilitary for remain as mere spectators!

Yesterday, 30th Dec, these narco terrorists attacked the CDO camp at the border town of Moreh using RPG and advanced weapons from an area close to the camp of one of the central paramilitary forces!!

@Manipur_Police confirms that the combined forces of the India and Manipur govts are currently under heavy attack from #KukiMilitants #KukiTerrorists since early morning of 17 January 2024. The attacks started at 3:30 am at the IRB post near Kondong Lairembi, Moreh while the security men were sleeping.

In a video a #KukiMilitant can be seen training an assault weapon at the Casper army vehicle threatening the security personnel inside.

UPDATES:
- A security personnel is confirmed dead as of now.
- Three IRB personnel also sustained injuries in the attacks. One of the injured persons was identified as Md. Kamal Hussain of Sangaiyumpha village of Thoubal district, a report said.

Assam Rifles IG Ranjan Sherawat, accompanied by the Tengnoupal District DC and SP, held a meeting with CSOs and the Kuki Women’s Union regarding the ongoing combing operations in Moreh town. The IG issued a stern warning against making unfounded accusations against the state police forces regarding theft or mistreatment of children and women during the combing operations. He emphasized that these allegations were baseless, as the combing operations were jointly conducted by state and central forces, not solely by the state forces.

The IG further said that the combing operations will continue until the killers of Moreh town police SDPO Chingtham Anand’s killers are nabbed.

This is another clear proof that the #ChinKuki community is untrustworthy, everything they do and they say are based on lies, just to manufacture a separate state of their own where they can freely run their illicit trade and extend the Golden Triangle in India!
