Just to re-cap, when Adam Silver introduced Mark Walter as "a great addition to our league" authorities had already stormed Walter's jet and seized his laptop and phone. https://t.co/Edzrfmc4Hd

they have a TO on hart’s $22m after this season. look for them to try declining that & bringing him back on something like 2/$40 or 3/$57. that keeps the core together & makes it more palatable if they try to move mikal once he has 2-3 yrs left.
Me and @redford are taping a broke jumper tip line episode tomorrow with @ocksportello 🚨🚨🚨

🏀project 2028: team usa hoops reset🏀
the 2024 olympic tournament ended w/ 2 of the best basketball games i've ever watched. watching LBJ/steph/KD lead the team - after watching them dominate the sport for literally half my life - was beautiful.
it's also an opportunity.
* = i don't want them on the USA roster bc i want the team jamaica to happen:
g: brunson
w: barnes, vassell, thompson brothers, champagnie brothers, n. powell
b: beef stew, n. richards, minott
Bill Simmons on the Blazers stadium/owner situation:
“This feels like it’s beyond posturing and gamesmanship and feels very f*** you-ish now.
I don’t think the city should have to pay for jack s***. These guys are all rich. Build your own stadium.”
He goes on to acknowledge Portland’s recent struggles as a city, shows respect for their history, and pledges to continually shine light on the situation
