Sara needs to reach out to the Texas Democratic Party, TX State House Dems caucus and ask about their efforts and plans to support state house races. As for volunteers, is the campaign coordinating with county parties? Parties don’t raise money for candidates… candidates have to do the bulk of that work. I didn’t get a dime from the DSCC until after my campaign started to take off and polls so it was possibly competitive. But, I’m told there will be a robust TX coordinated campaign pushing Democrats to vote for the ticket across the state, which should include Democrats in her district. When I ran in ‘20 I donated millions from my campaign to support my down ballot democrats. Has she asked the top of the ticket to do similar to support state house races? But if she is using the voter file… millions are spent to keep that updated, to buy models, emails and phone #s…. When Election Day comes millions will be spent on voter protection efforts that supports her race and others.
