📢 Update on BMC Commissioner's orders to keep Mumbai's footpaths encroachment-free:

A day after directing civic officials to clear encroachments from footpaths across Mumbai, BMC Commissioner @AshwiniBhide orders strict monitoring and accountability mechanism to ensure implementation of the drive.

Details below 👇

- Assistant Commissioners will conduct daily inspections of footpaths in their wards and review daily progress reports with before-and-after photographs.

- Deputy Commissioners will carry out weekly zonal reviews and submit reports to the Additional Municipal Commissioners.

- Additional Municipal Commissioners will review the progress every 15 days.

- Commissioner has warned that any negligence, delay or failure to implement the orders will not be tolerated.

- Responsibility will be fixed on the concerned officers, who will face strict disciplinary action for any lapse.

- Officials have also been directed to prepare a priority-wise list of footpaths to ensure systematic implementation and continuous monitoring.

A detailed engineering and design directions for footpaths is issued, including:

- Removal of non-standard or uneven ramps.

- Ensuring building entrances and doors open inward within property boundaries, not onto footpaths.

- Scientific pruning of tree branches obstructing pedestrian movement.

- Construction of new footpaths only as per the prescribed standard design using M40-grade concrete.

- No use of paver blocks or stamped concrete for new footpaths.

- Removal of gaps, uneven levels and other physical obstacles to make footpaths safe and accessible for pedestrians.

It was actually a psyop and it's purpose was to remove fear of govt from the hearts of people, to motivate them to break the laws so that more and more people can join them and can break the law. It's a very popular psyop and is repeated in every regime change operation

Whatever she has done is a crime (obstruction in the work of govt officer)
Now if she goes unpublished, thousands of more people will come forward to break the law so my request will be to @Dev_Fadnavis to send her jail under relevant BNS and keep her in jail till protest is going on.
It will demoralise others and this psyop will fail
