Last night Bidi Bidi Performing Arts Centre won the prestigious @dezeen design award for "Cultural Project of the Year"! I’m stoked that this concept dreamt up by me and my team at https://t.co/DlLFvGCcl7 nearly 5 years ago, designed in collaboration with the talented Xavier De Kestelier and the @HASSELL_Studio team, and with the incredible philanthropic support from our network has been recognised with this prestigious award from Dezeen, a publication I greatly admire.

We are committed to showing the world that creative infrastructure is crucial for communities, particularly those currently living in refugee settlements. We continue to invite the world’s best architects and designers to collaborate in creating proof of concepts and blueprints for what future cities could look like. Thank you to all our partners for your continued support, and to the Dezeen team for recognising our hard work. We can’t wait to show the world what’s next.

One of our missions at https://t.co/DlLFvGCcl7 is to identify young grassroots leaders dedicated to lifting their communities and empowering them. We've been working with @Franculaodhis, co-founder of @ChezaChezaDance, on programming at our Bidi Bidi Performing Arts Centre project. The work they are doing there and elsewhere is nothing short of amazing.

If you know me, you'll know that I take mental, physical and spiritual fitness very seriously. I have been able to reach new heights personally and professionally thanks to the privilege of being able to access coaches, healers, guides and infrastructure to support this mission. It's a human right.

We are blueprinting a new infrastructure and programmatic model to lift baseline health in disenfranchised communities. If we get this right, it will be groundbreaking.
