@ClarkeMicah Then that would mean the RC wasn't the true church and does not have the protection of The Holy Spirit.
Interestingly the Nazis who planned to do away wuth the church after the war was it self done away with.
Your hypothetical only makes sense in atheistic universe.

@cwlkr2023 @palaver59 @jk_rowling I might pull an Oscar Wilde and Beardsly and convert on my death bed. Us thoughtful degenerates do consider spiritual matters.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@palaver59 Oh I delved but I was surprised how shallow the waters are.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@stevewhitemd1 @jk_rowling When Society set itself against your interests its amazing how much you don't care what society wants. Society changes easily. I have seen it many times. I am old. I have hardly changed at all. I can change Society. It will not change me.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@palaver59 You did about five posts in 15 years . So no not really.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@comsenlib67 @jk_rowling Kink was almost accepted in the 70s. But we are currently in a bit of a dark age, but nothing lasts forever.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@cwlkr2023 @palaver59 @jk_rowling All women are transvestites now days. No doubt a victoriana would consider your clothes gross and disgusting and a symptom of a sick and depraved society.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@palaver59 @jk_rowling I identify as a man, because l am one, and wear clothes that are considered feminine. People do give a fuck . They keep saying they don't care. But people do. That why I dont make it well known I'm a transvestite. I dont want to get my head kicked in.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@palaver59 @jk_rowling Trans people want you be regarded as women rather than face the reality of being a transvestite. If society accepted transvestites they would stay out of your toilets.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@Bogey50cal They did kill a lot of heretics.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@tellmemore8888 @jk_rowling No it isn't. You just haven't worked it out yet.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@palaver59 @jk_rowling Maybe it is but you could at least explain why it is? I have no idea if you are pro or anti trans people.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@ClarkeMicah @1965biscuits @BruvverEccles @holysmoke That's what makes the Roman Catholic Church and not every other church. THE Popes authority going back to Peter. Not accepting that authority means you are not a Catholic.
Henry Viii died Protesting. He died outside the Church.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@ClarkeMicah Orwell didn't understand the working class, or he didn't understand them the way the working class do. And this I think all lower upper middle class trots have in common.
Being working class ,Marxism just seemed to be a middle class fantasy.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@ClarkeMicah I guess I get hung up on the word 'image'. I am quite literal minded.

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@ClarkeMicah Never understand the image of god thing. Does it mean God looks like a human?

[ARTz CLUB @BPurutans]

@90sDemInAmber @KatSpartz That doesn't mean men have to wear trousers. That's just am idea that caught on with the French Revolution when it fashionable to dress like a peasant.
No one in ancient times wore trousers except barbaric northerners.
