I opened up a Trump account for each child of mine. They are older and no $1,000 seed money, but maybe will get others. I do plan on doing the Roth Conversion for each kid once they are 21-23 years of age before their career takes off and when kiddie tax doesn’t apply.

It’s essentially a Roth IRA. Money goes in after tax. Do a conversion or two and bam, you have funded Roth IRAs for kids and essentially zero to little income tax on conversion.

Investment wise, you are getting the S&P 500. Would I prefer NVDA, sure. But S&P 500 good enough and simple.

I’d also add, no other investment accounts are this easy for family members to contribute too. Little Johnny’s birthday, text the link to family and anyone can contribute. Why get $100 worth of toys when they can get a $50 toy and $50 S&P 500 fund of the best companies in the world?

Took me all of 10 minutes to open and fund start to finish. No investment decisions to be made either which is good. Set it and forget it! Less is more for many.

Take a look at the JP Morgan “Guide to the markets”monthly piece. If I had it handy I’d share with you. Long story short, when consumer sentiment on S&P 500 is low (we’re at historical lows today) the market rallies 24% a year later. I’d mention, we were in this exact SAME position this time last year when people thought the world was going to end with tariffs. Markets rallied! End of the day it boils downs to earnings. Companies are reporting double digit earnings. Take it for what ya want!
