So a productive two days including meetings with two Secretaries of State, two senior Ministers and the new Chairman of the @Conservatives Party.
Topped off by a brilliant chat with the Prime Minister @BorisJohnson.
All on board with helping to bring our area forward.

Quite simply, I think enough is enough
Yes the police have a role to play, but since the new Council took control we have, in bmth, seen a 400-500% increase in aggressive beggars & a doubling of rough sleepers
We need firm action on this from the Council - our town is suffering
So glad to have spoken up at O&S on Monday and so happy the Early Years will retain their £200.000. Good news for our early learners and hopefully some sighs of relief from their hard working providers.
This is a vital area for our residents: the point of the CIL levy is to mitigate the impact of residential development on our neighbourhoods. Pooling the arrangements as proposed by Cabinet could send money some distance away from those developments. It really matters!
Excellent visit with the Town Rangers - this ambassadorial job has changed a lot - had an interesting discussion with Neil from WH Smiths about shoplifting - more needs to be done. Thank you Helen, Colin, Jackie and Mario and the others for what you do.@makeitbmth @ConorBurnsUK
Not while we have this anti-road rainbow coalition running the Council, Greg.
I’m all for sustainable travel and improving cycling etc. But we still have to recognise that many people still rely on cars.
Furthermore, with the rise of electric cars, the future is a lot greener.
