We did a sequencing activity for “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves!” in first grade!! The kiddos had a BLAST making their bags and then feeding the old lady her pieces in the order she ate them in the book!! #edutwitter @BWUECE

Lately people have been shocked when I tell them I am a FYT, but I had some of the best examples/experiences at BW & Tri-C. Great professors molding amazing teacher candidates...they always try to make learning fun &prove daily that relationships matter.

I know remote learning is hard and horrible for lots of people. However, when I see a kid engaging in learning while relaxed on their couch with their puppy, I can't help but think this is good for some kids.
