@airlinerslive My daughter flew London Heathrow to Brisbane via Singapore. 28 hour flight. She was planning to emigrate but when she arrived, phone me and realised after looking around Brisbane had made a mistake. 3 days later she as flying back to London.

@BCalStewardess I used to live only a few miles from Manchester, directly on the flight path 1963-71. LHR diversions were always special days. Family flew on a British Caledonian BAC 1-11 in 1968, Luton to Palma. Father saved a few pounds driving to Luton instead of flying out of Manchester.
