Okay #Cardiotwitter, I'm heading into my last year of fellowship. Any words of advice for things to do in my last year? Rotations you loved? Maybe something that helped you to prepare for practice as a cardiologist?

@aryakishor_ I saw rotations that charged only DO med students years ago, before the ACGME merger. Donβt go to them. Come to places where youβre seen as an equal.
@allischneiderDO Iβve been using Klein book from your recs last year, which thankfully now has an online question format. The physics chapter was an adventure.
Great second day of #ACC22. Another virtual year for me, with my same study buddy and lots of coffee. We are loving the Clinical Trials!
Looking forward to Jeopardy later!

@TravelGov My husband applied for expedited passport renewal 12/27/22 - 9 weeks ago. We travel in less than 14 days. The phone number you keep giving has not been helpful.
What do you suggest we do? Calling every day isnβt working and we have a time limit to cancel travel.
@realannapaulina
@narrowQRS I understand, but am so sorry to see you go. Many of us students, myself included, have learned so much from you over the years. Hope to meet you in person at a conference someday.
EP attending asking me to put a catheter in the coronary sinus.
Me, moving the catheter to every spot in the atria except the CS.

I told my patient I was a Red Sox fan and he stood up and threatened to leave the room.
My mentor always said to find something in common with every patient. A love of baseball is my favorite. Itβs rivalry with a smile. π
