State Sponsored Medical Kidnapping in Oklahoma!

This is a gross and egregious violation of parental rights and is symptomatic with DHS protocols for maximizing billable hours and has a chilling effect on parents who might dare question DHS’s absolute authority over a family’s children.

Since this teen was taken by DHS on Friday, I have been working with the family, parental rights advocates, elected officials, judges, attorneys, law enforcement and media. I reported to the DHS Director this misconduct. I personally visited the family, who are under duress, at the hospital and documented parental rights violations and medical intimidation.

This family sought a second opinion and is pleased with the positive results of their chosen health protocols.

It looks like DHS intentionally waited until Friday afternoon, knowing there could be no hearing until Monday, to maximize the time they had to force the OU Childrens Hospital’s cancer protocol on the teen, against the family’s wishes.

The Mooney family is very well respected and is known by many members of the legislature. We are discovered that many families have been subjected to this kind of state sponsored medical kidnapping and extortion by prescribed treatment and billing hours. Both DHS and OU Children’s Hospital financially benefit when they usurp parental authority to drive their own protocols because SoonerCare (i.e. the taxpayer) picks up the bill. There is a perverse financial incentive to defy parental rights and take custody of their children.

This family is being victimized by the weaponization of this state agency. Because of a false accusation, this family had their rights taken away and was forced into medical procedures without due process.
We are asking for the immediate cessation of these forced medical protocols and immediate release of the mother and her teen from DHS and OU Children’s Hospital custody.

CDC today updated its adult and child immunization schedules to apply individual-based decision-making to COVID-19 vaccination and recommend that toddlers receive protection from varicella (chickenpox) as a standalone immunization rather than in combination with measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination.

Individual-based decision-making means that the clinical decision to vaccinate should be based on patient characteristics that unlike age are difficult to incorporate in recommendations, including risk factors for the underlying disease as well as the characteristics of the vaccine itself and the best available evidence of who may benefit from vaccination.

Medical procedures were done against the mother’s wishes. This is not a case of parental neglect. She was getting him care elsewhere. This is the state intervening and demanding a treatment that THEY think he needs. A good mom - intelligent, hard working, loving - was targeted and stripped of her rights.
