A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A...

...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was.

His name is Gilbert Martin.

Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil."

Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC.

He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position.

Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil!

Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application.

He was 86 years old at the time.

He's been there ever since.

Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday.

He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him.

His official job is dining host.
Clean tables.
Clean floors.

But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is:

"I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that."

A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone.

And Wilmington noticed.

When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him.

Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire.

He says if you ever see him working, come say hi.

"I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.”

Women are the enemy of civilizations because their loyalty is to survival, not principles. Women’s moral conscience is lower than men’s because their psychological development is based on shame, not guilt.

Men feel guilt as an inner punishment, while women feel shame as fear of outside judgment. Because of this, women’s behavior is driven by social survival rather than principles. This is why people say a woman has the prerogative to change her mind.

This leads to a lack of accountability and an inability to accept the truth. No matter how well arguments are presented, women hate the truth.

Women understand the world through their feelings, which causes shifting standards. Because of this lack of reason and logic, civilization cannot survive under female leadership.

Men build and women consume. Men build civilization, while women build families. When women rise in power, civilization collapses, as the proverb says, “the hen does not herald the morning.”

Women belong at the heart of the family because of reproduction. Men continue in their role as warriors, protectors, and providers at the family and national level.

Women are supposed to support society through reproduction and promoting family, but they are not doing so. This is a failure of duty to society.

The feminist desire to win without a clear goal and without understanding consequences weakens the state. The state becomes weak and is then conquered by stronger forces.

Women should not vote or hold positions of national importance.

I’ve never trusted men who have an aversion to and disgust for the crass and the inelegant. The same kind of man who can’t enjoy the obscene (dark humour), low culture (hip-hop), or the crass (swearing) is a treacherous man, because he has no stomach for the ugly - he is a weak man, because rather than transmute the ugly into beauty, he patently rejects it.

He does not recognise dark humour as the transmutation of pain into joy, because he gets offended. He does not recognise hip-hop as a productive and artistic way to channel aggression and the atavistic will to power, because he views it as uncultured, and he doesn’t even tolerate cussing, because he wants too badly to be immaculate - his sense of hygiene is skewed in that it is not merely righteous, but pretentious. He thinks he is above ugliness, when in truth a man who never embraces ugliness is incapable of being beautiful.

He rejects some of the most fundamental tenets of the masculine spirit - that we become ugly for a greater good, that we cannot be great without trips to hell, and that going on such trips is violently messy. He, in his hubris, thinks he is above it all and therefore need not dirty his hands - that he is better than the men who enjoy such things, when really he is just a brat of the highest order. A snob.
