@ndgo1370 @b1gnate_11 The COT was rightfully hated for being a brick that happened to go forward. The safety innovations were necessary for the longevity of the drivers, but it needed a large number of fixes before it was ever going to rival the Gen 4

Somehow, the Gen 4.5 prototype drove even worse.

Somehow there's already a picture of the Mellow Yellow 51 all battered up with tire marks before the Daytona 500 at the end of the movie, the first race with this car

Noticed something:

The 51 in Days of Thunder spins at Darlington, but the number changes directions between shots. The only time the front-facing 51 makes an appearance is at Darlington (though both do, so one must have broke)

Both versions were entered in races, funny enough
