Excited to announce that I wrote the cover story for the Summer 2021 issue of TCU Magazine!
I've been told this will be "THE most important", timely, and social justice heavy story TCU Magazine has ever published. I hope you'll read it come May 19!
We have learned that Steven Crowder will be on campus on Tuesday, March 2, from 11 am – 1 pm, presumably at his typical location on the sidewalk in front of Sadler Hall, to discuss BLM. Please do not take the bait (thread):
The @startelegram wrote about @RepRWilliams misguided insults about the @TCU mission and faculty. Our @AAUP chapter statement is included in the story. https://t.co/w8efByIbCF
Our @AAUP chapter responds to the false and inflammatory remarks @RepRWilliams has made about the @TCU faculty on radio and television this week. https://t.co/3wbsFfT1EV
Giant shoutout to @MediaLawProf who has borne the brunt of Williams backlash. As someone who stepped back from TCU after being doxed/subject of rape "jokes" for saying the founders were Confederates, I know speaking out is hard & Chip continually does it with courage & with FACTS
@MediaLawProf@TCU Strange that TCU would continue to want members of their board that have such a disdain for higher education, the institution mission as well as the folks on the front line - the faculty?
This isn’t about having different opinions/politics. Roger Williams does NOT represent the @TCU mission statement. It’s not about cancelling, it’s about consequences.
Just wave after devastating wave. I hope this man rests in peace.
This has devolved into a @TCU "what's going on in the dumpster fire now" account, which is sad, but not as sad as the ways TCU continues to fail to act to prevent further dumpster fires.
Also, in more @TCU news-- blast this one high and low as well!!!
Federal judge in the Jane Doe case did not throw out claims that TCU officials acted with indifference towards discrimination allegations.
Rep Williams:
1) called Biden win election fraud
2) stood by while Rep Yoho called AOC a "bitch"
3) called the mission statement a "mouthful"
4) claimed the @TCU faculty "doesn't give back," are "dumbing down education"
5) is unfit for the BoT. Remove him.

If, like me, you’re part of the @TCU family and are embarrassed that the school continues to allow insurrection-friendly U.S. Rep. Roger Williams to remain on the board of trustees, you can sign a petition calling for his removal here. https://t.co/LDlYYfA4Tm
Calls grow for @RepRWilliams' removal from @TCU's board. (Williams has done a lot for TCU, but right now he does not seem to fit the university's mission.) https://t.co/ubDOOfGX3P
Great to be in the Austin paper today, 46 years after my first @statesman byline. Thanks for picking up the column about @tcu’s canceled honorary degree for JFK. @BeschlossDC@LarrySabato
