@NELiveTV Villainising of Kukis in Manipur must be stopped immediately by the state. Targeted campaign to demonise Kukis by all Anti-Kuki elements must be checked. Arrest all perpetrators on killing of 3 Pastors. Let @NIA_India handle the case. Why the inaction? Safely release all hostages
Manipur: In a shocking live TV discussion on @sktvmanipur, Tangkhul social activist Ashang Kasar openly threatened to finish off Kukis. Sadly, hate speech and genocidal threats are being normalised while the administration stays silent. @HMOIndia@YKhemchandSingh@manipur_police
WRONG TARGETS. Security forces targeting victims while perpetrators walk free. 3 Pastors brutally killed, 14 including students Kuki cilvilians were still held captive by SDSA led by Nscn-IM Tangkhul militants. Why the victims?? Where is the Rescue Mission????
#RescueKuikizo
Manipur : A Mass rally was held at Lamka today in protest against the barbaric murder of three Kuki pastors,proxy violence by Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM, and the ongoing hostage situation.
We demand immediate justice, accountability & unconditional release of hostages.
@NIA_India
Facebook user name “Ajoy Rephung” has allegedly admitted to the killing of 11 Kuki hostages, mocked grieving families to collect decomposed bodies & issued further threats..!!
11 lives. 11 families waiting for answers.
If these claims are true, silence is not an option. A transparent and independent investigation must happen immediately. Justice and accountability cannot be delayed when innocent lives are at stake. #KukiLivesMatter#JusticeForVictims
A Kuki mother and her son were allegedly taken hostage, and when armed men tried to tear them apart, the boy begged,Mom, don’t leave me. If we have to die, let’s die together.” No child should ever face that fear,and no mother should ever have to hear it. #releasethehostages@NIA
@manipur_police The faces in the image are ordinary civilians from Taphou and Hengbung villages who remain unaccounted for amid the Senapati hostage crisis. Their families deserve truth, accountability, and safe return.
Even three innocent students have now been kidnapped by the NSCN-IM and SDSA.
Targeting students and civilians is inhumane, unacceptable, and a grave violation of human rights.
We strongly condemn the kidnappers for spreading fear, pain, and trauma among innocent families and communities. Students are meant to live, learn, and build their future — not suffer under threats and violence.
We demand the immediate, safe, and unconditional release of all kidnapped persons.
No cause can ever justify the abduction of innocent civilians and students.
Praying for their safe return home.

#WATCH | Churachandpur, Manipur | Young Pillars College Principal and MD, Samuel Haokip, says, "Among the 14 that were abducted, there's a boy named Hengunsei Khongsai, a student of Young Pillars College. He had just completed his class 11 final exams. Now, Hengunsei is still a minor. He's only 16 years of age. He also has a disability and he's essentially an orphan. His mother left him when he was a child and his father passed away this January. Now, his friends have started their class 12 a week ago. He could not come. He's still in Taphou village. He was in Taphou village to earn his fare money, just to come from his village to Lamka... I earnestly appeal to the government at the state and the centre, to all the security agencies and to all right-thinking community leaders across the region. Please put an end to this madness... Let us release all the hostages on all sides, including our boy, Hengunsei Khongsai... On the 14th of May, as I've been given to understand by his family members, Hengunsei Khongsai, along with his friends and village members were earning money as a daily wage labourer. On their way home to their village, they were stopped, in front of Mount Everest College, Senapati, where they were stopped by Senapati District Student Association (SDSA) members. There were also police members present there, security personnel. Instead of protecting Hengunsei Khongsai and his friends and his villagers, the security people have handed over these civilians into the hands of the SDSA... All involved parties, including the SDSA student leaders as well as the police personnel involved in that incident must be investigated and they must be held accountable for whatever happens to Hengunsei Khongsai and the abducted 14 members."
At what point does silence become complicity when Pastors are murdered in cold blood and 14 KukiZo civilians abducted?? The GoI cannot ignore these allegations. Find Them, Deliver Justice. We are waiting. The World is watching.
@PMOIndia@HMOIndia@PTI_News@PIBHomeAffairs
If these allegations are true, silence is no longer negligence—it’s complicity. The government cannot ignore reports of missing lives and possible killings, because every person deserves to be found and every life deserves justice. @narendramodi@AmitShah@PMOIndia@HMOIndia
No proof of life has been shown for the 14 Kuki civilians abducted by the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM and SDSA on 13 May 2026 in Senapati. This silence is condemnable. The government must act immediately.
A heartbreaking appeal from the families of the 14 Kuki men still in custody. Mothers, fathers, wives, and children are pleading not through politics, but through pain, fear, and hope for the safe return of their loved ones.
Among those held are students and innocent civilians from Taphou Kuki and Hengbung villages. The families state that they have no involvement in the conflict and are suffering physically and emotionally with each passing day.
Their appeal is simple: bring them home safely.
