Here we go again. Son booked on 10:00 train supposed to be going to Aberdeen, but terminating at Edinburgh. Staff say this is due to engineering works. There are NO engineering works today. What is going on? Will his ticket be accepted by Scotrail for the next leg?

@LNER But they gad to gave the funds to pay for it first. Not everyone gad a skate £200 sitting in their account. One customer was advised by police to go to the hospital as at least they would be warm there. Not good enough

Shocked to discover that passengers travelling to Scotland last night had their journeys terminated at Newcastle with no provision for looking after them. Just advised to find a hotel and then reclaim. What of those who couldn’t afford a hotel on a freezing night?

So what gave the passengers to do that you are abandoning in Newcastle with no train going further north. No arrangements in place to get them to Edinburgh. Only been told to speak to staff when you get there. Are there going to be staff there

@nufc5897 Not if you are not going to get to your destination because they are terminating the train early leaving passengers hundreds of miles from where they need to be. I know it is not their fault the lives came down but they have a duty of care to the passengers.
