Shaykh ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbdul-Raḥīm al-Bukhārī [حفظه الله] said:

“I wish to briefly draw attention to two grave falsehoods that have occurred in recent days:

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁:
Exaggeration regarding the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, through innovated celebrations of his birth ﷺ, which for many have reached the level of associating partners with Allāh, may Allāh protect us from such a thing.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱:
Belittling and casting aspersions upon his ﷺ rank. Such an act is outright disbelief and manifest heresy, as it entails denying the Noble Qur’ān and the authentic Sunnah, which affirm that he ﷺ fulfilled the duty of conveying, in full, everything he was commanded to convey, clarify, and call towards!!

I draw attention here to the fact that the belief of the people of truth and īmān [faith] is that he ﷺ left his ummah [Muslim Community] upon the clear, radiant path—its night as bright as its day—from which none deviates except one who is ruined.

What is astonishing—though astonishing matters are many—is that you find some people brazenly asserting, out of ignorance or desire or both, these two deviations with speech utterly devoid of scholarly integrity, resembling sophistry more than knowledge.

Nor does the matter end there: some even defend those who spread such falsehoods, seeking illegitimate justifications for their blatant disbelief, excusing those who have spoken and broadcast it! This is the case with that utterer of plain disbelief—the deluded, Quṭbī, Sūfī figure lost in misguidance—[Muḥammad] Walīd al-Daddū. May Allāh deal with him with His justice. Allāh is sufficient for us against them. O Allāh, we place You before them, and we seek refuge in You from their evils and misguidance.”

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: Muḥammad al-Daddū is a Sūfī ikhwānī who recently claimed: “The Prophet ﷺ passed away without leaving us a constitution, without explaining how a ruler is to be chosen, held accountable, or removed, and without appointing a leader, and this created a crisis that caused the majority of Muslims to apostatise.”

1⃣ "So I advise the Salafi brothers in general to have brotherhood for the sake of Allah, to love one another for the sake of Allah, and to show affection for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. I advise them to hold firmly to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah

, upon the methodology of the righteous predecessors (al-salaf al-ṣāliḥ), and to respect the scholars — whether they are from Algeria or from elsewhere."

2⃣ "For restricting oneself to the scholars of that particular country and rejecting the words of others — this is racism, partisanship, and nationalism. So let them fear Allah and abandon these ways."

3⃣ "Let them honor the Salafi methodology, their brothers, and the scholars — even if the scholars are from the farthest parts of China or from any land — as long as they speak the truth and base their words on the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه أما بعد

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.
And may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, companions, and those who follow his guidance. To proceed:

فقد بلغني أن هناك خلافات قائمة بين الإخوان السلفيين في الجزائر وماكان ينتظر هذا منهم لقد كانت دعوتهم قوية حينما كانت كلمتهم واحدة باجتماعهم على كتاب الله وسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

It has reached me that there are ongoing disputes among the Salafi brothers in Algeria. This was not expected from them. Their daʿwah (call to Islam) used to be strong when their word was united upon the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah

ولقد بلغني أن هذه الخلافات أثرت تأثيرا كبيرا على الدعوة السلفية وشوهتها

It has also reached me that these disputes have had a significant negative impact on the Salafi daʿwah and have tarnished its image.

فأنصح الإخوان السلفيين عموما بالتآخي في الله والتحاب في الله والتواد في الله عز وجل والتمسك بكتاب الله وسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بطريقة السلف الصالح واحترام العلماء سواء من الجزائر أو من غيرها

So I advise the Salafi brothers in general to have brotherhood for the sake of Allah, to love one another for the sake of Allah, and to show affection for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. I advise them to hold firmly to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah

For restricting oneself to the scholars of that particular country and rejecting the words of others — this is racism, partisanship, and nationalism. So let them fear Allah and abandon these ways.

وليحترموا المنهج السلفي وإخوانهم ويحترموا العلماء ولو كانوا من أقصى الصين أو من أي بلد مادام يقولون كلمة الحق وينطلقون من كتاب الله وسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ومنهج السلف الصالح؛

Let them honor the Salafi methodology, their brothers, and the scholars — even if the scholars are from the farthest parts of China or from any land — as long as they speak the truth and base their words on the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah

أؤكد نصيحتي أن يتركوا الفرقة وأسبابها لأن هذا يؤدي إلى الفشل

I emphasize in my advice: abandon division and its causes, for it leads to failure. Allah says:

{ولا تنازعوا فتفشلوا وت��هب ريحكم}

“And do not dispute, lest you fail and your strength departs.” {Surah al-Anfāl: 46}

وليدعوا إلى الألفة وعليهم بالرفق واللين فإن الله رفيق يحب الرفق كما في الحديث الصحيح وكذلك الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول
So call to mutual affection. Be gentle and kind, for Allah is Gentle and loves gentleness, as is stated in the authentic ḥadīth. Likewise, the Messenger

said:

:(عليكم بالرفق إن الرفق لا يكون في شيء إلا زانه ولا نزع من شيء إلا شانه)

“Be gentle, for gentleness is not found in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disfigures it.”

الشدة والعنف حث على الأعداء لا تنفع الدعوة السلفية

Harshness and severity are for the enemies; they are of no benefit to the Salafi call.

Allah says:
{أدع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن}

“Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good admonition and argue with them in the best manner.”
{Surah al-Naḥl: 125}

هذا في الأعداء كيف بالسلفيين الشدة على السلفيين والطعن الشديد فيهم؛هذا في الأعداء كيف بالسلفيين الشدة على السلفيين والطعن الشديد فيهم؛ هذا أمر خطير يخالف منهج السلف

This is regarding the enemies, so how then with the Salafiyoon? Harshness toward Salafis and severe attacks against them, this is a dangerous matter and contrary to the methodology of the Salaf.

فليتقوا الله في هذه الدعوة وليتماسكوا وليتآخوا وليكونوا كالجسد الواحد والذي يخطئ ينصح بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة

So let them fear Allah regarding this daʿwah. Let them unite, strengthen their bonds, and be like one body. And the one who errs should be advised with wisdom and good admonition.

وفق الله الجميع وألف بين قلوبهم إن ربنا سميع الدعاء

May Allah grant everyone success and bring harmony between their hearts — indeed, our Lord is the Hearer of supplication.

وصلى الله على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم

And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

Now, some novice - an agitator for tribulations - deliberately stirs up fitnah among Ahl al-Sunnah. Overnight he becomes an “imam” - he studies two days and suddenly he is a teacher, with a faction rallying around him.

They do not accept any criticism of him, no matter how strong the evidence. If someone critiques him with proof and reasoning, the world is turned upside down!

These people form parties and show blind partisanship for him. The teacher himself may in fact be just a poor student of knowledge, with some good in him but why all this partisanship?

The behavior of the ḥizbiyyūn has crept into some of the Salafīs. By Allah, such manners were not found among us.

- al-Bayān wa’l-Īḍāḥ li-ʿAqīdat Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah fī Ruʾyat Allāh Yawm al-Qiyāmah, from Ḥādī al-Arwāḥ ilā Bilād al-Afrāḥ by Ibn al-Qayyim.

We don't mock and oppress Sh 'Arafaat or UK elder callers, and we don't try to ruin any of them by indirectly attacking them.

They all should be advised, their errors rejected and refuted so the deen is protected.

No fanaticism to Sh 'Arafaat or SPUBS.

There are many individuals online who don't actually need to act upon knowledge, or the fear of Allah.

As long as they're known/trusted to the elders...

Then he can speak as he likes, speaking without knowledge, warning, mocking and lying.

Notice that dissemination is the final stage to be reached. The tragedy we face today is that social media platforms give a voice to those lacking true knowledge — individuals who have never studied under qualified scholars or completed foundational texts with them, yet love to write and be heard.

Be cautious: seek knowledge & advice from scholars and recognised students of knowledge, not from unqualified voices online who feign knowledge & “disseminate” while having never mastered the earlier stages themselves.
