🚨STATEMENT🚨

Unacceptable.

Why is Narendra Modi scared of Jantar Mantar?

The Jantar Mantar belongs to THE PEOPLE OF INDIA. Did the Ministry of Home Affairs consult with the people of India? Were any stakeholders consulted? Were any organisations consulted?

Take it in writing—just how they are denotifying people’s Jantar Mantar, the Prime Minister will soon denotify democracy in India. This move is a step towards that.

We do not accept this arbitrary decision. It is an assault on people’s fundamental right to protest and peaceful assembly. Ab poora desh Jantar Mantar ban raha he!

Why did you delete the part where I was asking for my phone so I could retrieve my cousin’s number? And where I was asking to let me speak to my lawyers?

The same Delhi Police which is now taking the moral high ground for informing me about my grandmother’s demise and offering me a ride home came to me at 3:30 in the morning with arrest papers, demanding that I sign them.

Where did all that humanity go at 3:30 AM? Despite knowing that I had just lost my grandmother, they still insisted that I sign the arrest papers. I refused until I was allowed to speak to my lawyers.

Govt forced Bankers to open on Sunday for customer convenience before Bank Strike, but stopped Trains & Metros before CJP protest.

Convenience... Suddenly irrelevant!

Hello India.

We are under a State of Emergency.

The Government of India is at war with its own young citizens.

But remember, the young generation will prevail.

See you all in Delhi 10th October onwards. Jeetenge! ✊🏻🇮🇳🪳

Banking is 24×7. Bankers shouldn’t hv to be.

Technology gave customers banking anytime, anywhr.
Yet bankers are still expected to work beyond the traditional week.

5-Day Banking isn’t a luxury.
Better rested bankers. Better productivity.Better service. @FinMinIndia @DFS_India

[Kamaljit @KamaljitBOIOAOU]

1st meeting of the committee on 5-Day Banking is scheduled today. I hv rarely witnessed members showing such anticipation for an outcome. The discussions must be made transparent and public, with a clear roadmap, firm timeline and execution plan. @aiboc_in @rupamsmail @UFBUIndia

#UFBUBetrayersResign #5DaysBanking

Bank employees want a 5-day week. Ok, take. I don’t even know which days my bank is open.
The role of the bank in our lives has changed: from a place to keep money, to a network for accessing money, to an invisible utility that simply moves money around.

[Kamaljit @KamaljitBOIOAOU]

6 hours have passed, yet no official communication on the compensatory holiday. Several Affiliates hv already raised this demand.I urge AIBOC to act today and formally seek 1 compensatory holiday, preferably on 3rd Oct. Our members sacrificed their Sunday. @aiboc_in @rupamsmail

[Kamaljit @KamaljitBOIOAOU]

Officers & staff sacrificed their Sunday to ensure the 3-day strike’s success. 1 day salary alone is not sufficient. We deserve one compensatory off, preferably on 3rd oct. Our contribution deserves tangible compensation, not merely appreciation. @aiboc_in @UFBUIndia @rupamsmail

[Kamaljit @KamaljitBOIOAOU]

Members sacrificed thr Sunday for the 3-day strike. 1 day salary can’t replace family time. We demand 1 compensatory holiday, preferably on 3rd Oct.over and above salary. If branches can open within 24 hr., 48 hours is enough to grant the holiday. @aiboc_in @rupamsmail @UFBUIndia

On the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, let us remember that questioning is not disloyalty. it is responsibility. Leadership demands transparency. Commitments demand accountability. Members deserve answers. Let the truth be placed b4 the members. @aiboc_in @rupamsmail

Midnight withdrawal of the 3-day strike has raised serious questions among the rank & file. If an understanding led to the withdrawal, members deserve transparency—what was agreed, by whom, and what is the timeline? @UFBUIndia @rupamsmail @aiboc_in @ChVenkatachalam

🖤 *BLACK SUNDAY — A PAINFUL REMINDER*

Black Sunday — a deeply tragic and heartbreaking incident that has shaken us to the core.

We have lost two of our colleagues, who were travelling on a Sunday in connection with their official duties. Their untimely demise is not merely a matter of grief; it compels us to reflect on the working conditions and the balance between professional responsibilities and personal life.

5-Day Banking is not merely a demand. It is fundamentally about work-life balance, the well-being of bank employees, family time and a more humane working environment.

Comrades, a mere “RIP” cannot be the end of our responsibility. We have lost colleagues who worked alongside us. Let their memory, and our respect for them, become a source of strength and solidarity.

*Let us therefore dedicate our three-day strike from 28–30 September to the memory of our departed colleagues. Let our unity, discipline and collective action become a meaningful tribute to them.*

Let every colleague stand united.
Let every colleague contribute wholeheartedly to the success of the strike.
Let our collective strength carry our voice forward.

Our unity is our strength.
Our solidarity is our tribute.
Our struggle must continue with determination.

🕯️ A heartfelt tribute to our departed colleagues.
May their souls rest in peace.

Om Shanti Shanti
