The price is just fine. $100 for AT LEAST 8 years worth of entertainment. Meanwhile Other companies are charging $100+ for a YEARLY title. The Standard is COMPLETE. You're getting EXTRA content for EXTRA pay. Nearly all games do this. The gameplay LITERALLY effects NO ONE. Unless you have FOMO and that's not a Rockstar problem.
