Don’t waste your time. Meta attachments locked behind arena that you can’t buy on the flea market in the main game. @bstategames@nikgeneburn stop screwing over the main game to get people to play and spend money in arena
Been saying this for a LONG TIME.
THE GAME ISNT FUN TO WATCH BECAUSE OF THE PVP SYSTEM IN PLACE.
THE UPDATES IN RUST HAVE BEEN AMAZING WITH SO MUCH MORE CONTENT ADDED BUT THE VIEWS ARE DOWN.
WHY?
BECAUSE THERE IS NO REWARD TO BEING GOOD AT THE GAME.
THE SAME PEOPLE WHO TOLD ME TO STOP COMPLAINING ARE NOW AGREEING THANK U <3

Tarkov peaked its player count at a time where many game mechanics were not yet implemented like Inertia, Weight System, Nerfs to skills, Dynamic Loot, added Hit Boxes. The majority coming back with these new additions made a lot of people realize this isn't the same Tarkov they played. These changes drastically slowed down Tarkov and lots of people can't dedicate that extra time especially with how cheat infested the game is.
People often ask why there’s still “gear fear” in Rust when guns are cheaper and gunplay is easier.
In the old recoil system, mastering spray took time and practice. The skill gap between the top 5% and everyone else was large, so fights lasted longer and mistakes created opportunities.
This gave newer players more time to use the gear they worked for and made each battle feel more rewarding.
Now almost anyone can spray accurately. Fights are shorter, deaths happen quickly, and gear is lost in seconds.
God i’d do anything for a skill based recoil system. 🙏
Rare 2025 Stevie comment on an upcoming @FcpnchStds@playrust update-
DON’T ADD THE PARTY SYSTEM. I could explain how it would unevenly benefit clans, or how finding your teammates even as a Rust noob has never been hard enough to warrant training wheels…
BUT REALLY
It takes away from the long-engrained intense survival aspect of the game. Rust has always been an experience of dropping someone into a brutal unforgiving environment and forcing someone to make do. Starting off your wipes and having to run grids to find your teammates was part of this. But spoon feed too much of this survival experience to the players off-the-bat and you start to lose that intense survival experience. Rust will slowly stop being Rust 😣
Please, please, please reconsider Facepunch! 🙏

Please change how Rust is, for the sake of everyone. It’s extremely stale, plus these mega groups just mop the floor with numbers and no skill now. It’s literally the lamest it’s ever been. The meta is also shit. No one roams ever. 1 grid players and roof campers are the norm now
