This is great in theory, but has anyone actually tried running this LLM on commodity H/W? LLMs are extremely resource-intensive in terms of compute and memory. Unless you have a $20k rig at home, I don't expect the throughput (generated tokens/second) to be acceptable for a state-of-the-art model.
@bryan_johnson No, absolutely talk about how you have the privilege to eat their daughter's 1% vag and then brag about it on X.
I am sure they will be delighted.
If not, try to convince them with the recent picture from the gynecologist.
That'll work for sure. Good luck👍
Garbage in, garbage out.
You and your colleagues are the reason academic publishing is a joke these days.
I hope you enjoy your meaningless publication record, but know that real science that benefits humanity - and not your ego - is done by people with ethics and a moral compass.
Sure, racial discrimination is bad. But in all fairness, you should mention that only 1% of applicants in the top (10th) decile are Black.
From the same data: application and admissions in 10th decile:
• Asian: 7,225 (57%), admitted 917
• White: 4,963 (39%), admitted 758
• Hispanic: 380 (3%), admitted 119
• Black: 133 (1%), admitted 75
@IroncladDev I've been on Gentoo for over two decades. OpenRC, no SystemD nonsense. Servers, desktops, laptops. It's a bit more work than mainstream distros, but worth it Imho.
@aidenpryde@LundukeJournal At first, it will be just as simple as that. Enter your birth date, done.
Once the mechanism is in place everywhere, politicians will say "but it's too easy to spoof!" and demand linking age verification to e-ID.
And again, unfortunately, all the big companies will comply.
@IdleSloth84_ The board of Coupang, you say? The Coupang that suffered a data breach of all its 34 million Korean clients and didn't know about it for 6 months...? The future looks bright for Xbox users 😜

I wouldn't do that. $100/month is a lot of money for many people. Make it $49/month and you'll likely see a huge jump in subscribers.
You made similar statements about the X subscription fee. I suppose when your net worth has 14 zeroes, it's easy to lose any sense of what's affordable for normal people.
You represent the GNOME approach to things perfectly: I don't use / know about this feature, so let's remove it.
GNOME Devs have been on the high horse for decades. Criticize them, and you'll be called an ignorant.
BTW, while it still works: try the middle-button copy feature. You can keep two things in the buffer (ctrl-c, then mark with mouse), switch to the other app and paste the two buffers (ctrl-c, middle click). Super useful to copy user ID / passwords in one go, for example.
