@SpaceflightNow @AST_SpaceMobile During countdown, I heard a call where they said "we don't understand the full impact, whether it would be a full loss or only a loss of redundancy." Probably a call on the wrong net. No more info, but does show that they were tracking something major before launch.

@blueorigin Perigee of insertion orbit was far too low, and the satellite can't correct for it. AST said they will deorbit the vehicle.

@ProfEuphorbe @blueorigin I don't think they'll let anyone know to be honest. I've been on console for launches, and when issues happen everything stays pretty private (even between payload and LV) until they actually call off a launch.
