Prediction: @Delta's decision to block unaccompanied minors from flying HOME will go down in history as one of the stupidest airline decisions of all time. It has damaged the brand immeasurably, and rightly so. https://t.co/sRrJto3EB5
President @JoeBiden is the presumptive nominee of @TheDemocrats and he's earned my full support and endorsement.
Over the last three years, President Biden has navigated our nation through political turmoil and extraordinary division. We may not always see eye-to-eye on every issue, but he is a patriot and a man of integrity who has poured his life into public service and the betterment of our country.
Going forward, I intend to speak out forcefully in favor of Joe Biden’s candidacy while amplifying the voices of #YoungAmericans and marginalized communities, including #AmericanSamoa and other underrepresented groups at the Democratic National Convention in August.
I will also continue to fight for a #ceasefire and lasting peace in Israel and #Palestine, where too many people are suffering amid relentless violence, and which is now at risk of growing into a regional war.
Thanks so much for all of your support and advice over the past five months. We’ve tried our best to represent our shared commitments to education, entrepreneurship, democracy, civility, bi-partisanship, speaking truth-to-power, and painting a realistic, optimistic vision of what our country can achieve in the 21st century if we focus together on conscious capitalism and leveraging the powers of technology, business, and lifelong education for good.
As for myself, I’ve pivoted my campaign to launch a new organization called #TOGETHER! (announced at @UVA's @Center4Politics last week) with my friends and co-founders Deborah Perry Piscione and @Kwameinc Jackson. TOGETHER! is crafted to steer America away from polarization and extremes by mobilizing young American voters to elect a new generation of common-sense leaders from all political backgrounds. @TogetherPurple_ will serve as a force for catalytic change, providing a forum where entrepreneurs, cause champions, political activists, influencers, athletes, celebrities, sponsors, and voters can unite and champion impactful political discourse and actions.
Godspeed. Onwards and upwards!

@MDRC_News@PrezMDRC Thanks for sharing this, Jon. Given what we see in these two outstanding studies, I expect to se governors and state legislatures lining up to launch an ASAP program.
I was honored to be this week's guest on Learning Can't Wait. Hayley and I talked all about the intersection of innovation, evidence, and impatience. https://t.co/mw3wfcC3HN
This week Hayley Spira-Bauer (@Hayley_LCW) sits down with @Bart314 to discuss what it means to be an impatient innovator, and examine how technology is changing education.
Join us every Monday at https://t.co/0pHTBoQviS. Next week, we talk to author and advocate @sheldoneakins.
Great piece by @jillbarshay, who takes stock of the ways that school-based #tutoring and #onlinetutoring programs vary in their approach, implementation, and impact. The factors that matter most for efficacy are coming into focus. @hechingerreport https://t.co/gfBI7lrXVu
A key reason the U.S. leads the world in aerospace, agriculture, defense, and medicine innovation is federal investment in basic research & development. When will we do the same for education? Great piece by @JaveriaSal in @hechingerreport covers the issue

Excellent reporting by @MilaKoumpilova and @SSKedreporter of @WBEZ shows that Chicago's school system paid for more than 41K laptops and tablets sitting in a warehouse or not yet shipped. Only 174 of 500 district schools have tech coordinators. https://t.co/hn7cbFQSxr
Exciting news: @edtech_evidence & @InnovateEDU are merging to align the work of two nonprofits dedicated to using evidence to improve edtech selection and implementation. We are also releasing a new video & announcing a major grant today. Details here: https://t.co/0q51MKXrLv
Great piece from @nadiatamezr in @EdSurge about the importance of teacher agency – one of ten variables in our #EdTechGenome project – in the #edtech selection process. Listening to teachers takes time but it is well worth it. Give them more agency. https://t.co/X9WONho5z0
Thanks to @chalkbeatCHI for the opportunity to weigh in on an ambitious hybrid learning plan in Chicago. We’ve learned that hybrid learning is an important option, but is this district actually going to force students to stay home several days a week? https://t.co/byvOo5DgDG
Spending federal education funding properly isn’t easy — kudos to the schools, districts, and states that are doing the work to understand what programs will probably help their students recover. Read more in @washingtonpost: https://t.co/tHHwLaBtA1

Thank you to @jillbarshay and @hechingerreport for the opportunity to discuss challenges — and opportunities — related to how schools use (or underuse) “high-dosage” #tutoring contracts. Read the article here: https://t.co/HAOYbWcGEE
