We have laws that apply equally to all faiths. They work.

@DallasGoebel Our laws recognize that organized, physical opposition to our republican order is not a protected right under our constitution. If Episcopalianism crosses that line, there is no reason why it should be treated any differently from Islam if it crosses that line. None.

But when we treat things as though the presence of children in a worship service are an active detriment to worship, we're saying that worship is so fragile that it can only survive in rarified air.

@DallasGoebel …which is sufficient to prove the point that not all branches of Islam are the same, not all individual adherents of Islam are the same, and that existing constitutional jurisprudence is sufficient to treat different varieties differently.

Of course, my point is simply that millions of Senegalese Muslims live happily under this democratic system, and they do so generally in peace with a heavily Catholic region of the country.
