I want to officially welcome all the Broskis and Broskinas! Around here, we love Jesus, our families, and are proud to be Americans! Let’s go!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@farmingandJesus The amount of people who claim “We’re all on the same side”, but deny faith alone is crazy. It’s always some sort of faith+works hybrid. So many people sadly see Christ’s finished and think, “Not enough.” ☹️
@NUCLRGOLF Learn to hit a 9 iron bump and run to get the ball within 5 feet (ish). Less likely to skull or chunk than using your 56’ or 60’ wedge which should save you a stroke…or 2 per hole!
@farmingandJesus I had Eastern Orthodox folk coming for me today. Just another day proclaiming justification by faith alone and having people lose their minds.
@WattsUpJordan@needGod_net We’re saved from the penalty of Sin by Christ’s work. We are being saved in our sanctification and will be saved in our glorification. God is the one accomplishing all things for our good and His good pleasure.
@WattsUpJordan@needGod_net This is not extreme Calvinism, what you’re proposing is synergistic salvation, which dosent exist. You teach that you AND God can produce salvation. You know what The Bible says and yet you still want to hold to your works to “try” to have a right standing with God…
@WattsUpJordan@needGod_net Good works come from a heart that’s been changed by God (Ephesians 2:10). All those who are truly saved will be changed and will produce good fruit. But the fruit is the result of salvation, not the cause.
@WattsUpJordan@needGod_net If we’re trusting in our good works, we’ll always be wishy washy, because we sin. But if trust in Christ and His work, we’ll always can know we have eternal life. Also…
@WattsUpJordan@needGod_net I would say substitutionary atonement is essential to the Christian faith. If I may, how does a person in your position, know that he is truly saved?
@WattsUpJordan@needGod_net I’m not sure exactly what your position is. I’m simply stating that Justification by faith is a biblical concept. Not our works, not our obedience. Scripture makes this clear that Christ became a curse for us and we are justified by His blood.
@WattsUpJordan@needGod_net Isaiah 53:10 “Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush Him.” Lots of people died on a cross, but Jesus absorbed the wrath of God for all who would ever believe. That’s why He said “It is finished”, because He did the work.
