@TweedyMK@KingGambler18 I still look back fondly on those times and I couldn’t have done it without all the help I got. Imo king g has already surpassed that a long time ago, but it’d feel so right if he made it into finals off of LCQ.
@DiffFGC Johnnys good yea, I just was saying that I think the game wasnt given enough time to determine if anything should be changed. But they changed it anyway and now I feel the balance is probably worse because of it. And I think things are still too early. Especially for nerfs.
I’m kind of glad that I don’t have the time to play mk1. If I did I would be a lot more upset about nrs already nerfing characters and the community wanting more nerfs and changes. I haven’t played the newest patch, but I thought the game was amazing and mostly balanced at launch
@DeoxysSucks I’ve definitely noticed this being a thing with a lot of characters. Just randomly you can’t do ex moves at certain points. I don’t know why abs don’t know if it’s practice mode specific or not.
@LoraDesi With goro you can do it on reaction and I believe it’s a later reaction than you’d need to do for most anti airs. Certain jump ins at certain angles are difficult to anti air consistently. I plan on combining my anti air with this in those scenarios.
Unlike every other normal ive seen, you can completely absorb all jump in attacks with your kameo, making it so you can get easy, standing punishes everytime if your kameo is fast enough. You can also do this with projectiles.
Here's some dirt for you nitara players. You can basically get a conversion off of a d1 or d3 on hit with jax kameo by going into an unblockable jailing block string. Timings pretty strict with this so idk how practical itll be yet. Can be done with overhead too but hard to time.
The reasoning of why they sometimes splat from blocking unblockable low and sometimes dont im not entirely sure. If I had to guess I think theres a small window in between/right after block stun where it doesnt register them as being in a crouched state.
