Urgent Appeal to the Hon'ble Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah by the Candidates on the Waiting List Regarding the Resignation Issue
"Your leadership can bring change and justice to the meritorious youth of J&K and save the future of hundreds of families.
For the past 3-4 years, we have endured hardships due to scams, canceled exams, and growing despair. It is the youth of J&K who are bearing the brunt of this crisis, not those sitting comfortably in their chairs. The youth of J&K have suffered greatly, but it’s not just the youth—every individual in the family is affected by this. This is a system failure in J&K. First, there were scams in the exams, then the exams were scrapped. We have had to give the exams twice, and each time, we suffer.
Twenty exams were conducted in just 2-3 months, and appointment orders were issued with just a gap of 2-3 days, where one candidate got selected for 3-4 positions and then resigned shortly after for the remaining ones. This is not our fault; it is the system's fault in J&K, which issued appointment orders for lower posts first, and then for higher posts just 3-5 days later.
Deserving candidates on the waiting list are losing opportunities due to mass resignations in recent recruitment drives, which have a lifetime impact on individuals and their families. Losing such opportunities due to flaws in the system in J&K should be addressed immediately. We urge Hon'ble CM @OmarAbdullah to resolve this matter on a priority basis.

Open Letter to Hon'ble CM Omar Abdullah and the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC)
@OmarAbdullah@RuhullahMehdi@JKNC_
Respected Hon'ble Chief minister Omar Abdullah
We, the undersigned, have been suffering for the past six months, going door to door in search of justice. Before the elections, we spent months visiting the Secretariat, seeking help from the bureaucracy. We gathered evidence and received positive reports from various departments, but in the end, our issue remained unresolved.
With the elections behind us,our only hope was that you, as the Chief Minister, would prioritize resolving our matter*. We supported you throughout the campaign and worked to gather support for the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), believing that you would be the one to address our concerns.
We met with you after the formation of the government, and you assured us that our issue would be solved. However, one month has passed, and we are yet to see any progress. If you continue to seek advice from those who have failed to address our issue before, *our time is running out. Age is a critical factor, and we are rapidly losing hope.*
We have been continuously urging your government to address our concerns, but no one is listening. While everyone acknowledges that this is a genuine issue, no one seems willing to take action to resolve it.
We implore you to remember the promises made and the support we extended to you. Our patience is running thin, and we hope you will take immediate steps to ensure justice is served.
Your sincerely
Waiting List Candidates Seek Resolution for Resignation Issue
@IfraJan_@nasirsogami@SyedJunaidHsmi@iamsahilparray@Surinderch55 @vinkal_yac @Junaid_Mattu
The youth of Jammu & Kashmir are raising a heartfelt plea for justice. Many qualified young individuals, who have been on waiting lists due to resignations, are now urging the government to consider their cases with a one-time exemption. These are young minds filled with potential and aspirations, waiting for an opportunity to serve and contribute to society.
This appeal is a chance to uplift deserving candidates and support the dreams of countless families. We request the government to acknowledge their dedication and consider a fair resolution to this issue.
Please listen to their voices. Empower J&K's youth. Grant them a fair chance.

Students are now tired of moving door to door of every ruling politician from past one year. We request @OmarAbdullah@RuhullahMehdi and @JKNC_ to make it clear whether they are going to bring any solace to these deserving students or they have to die of depression only.
@JKNC_@OmarAbdullah These long term processes will keep going. First do something for youth, who are suffering, which is in ur hands. Bring one time exemption rule in #waitinglist as students have high expectations, revive #openmerit policy as already mentioned in ur manifesto & give #agerelaxation.
Filling of posts was intended to serve different departments long-term. Unfortunately, most of these posts are vacant again due to mass resignations. Instead of a re-examination, which could take years, merited students on the waiting list deserve these positions. @OmarAbdullah
@Junaid_Mattu The true champions of competitive exams: the category-selected candidates who then turn into motivational speakers for the open-merit candidates they left behind. Nothing like getting life advice from someone who couldn’t have made the cut without a little extra help!
The administration must address the legitimate concerns of waiting list candidates seeking government jobs to ensure that vacancies resulting from resignations are filled by those next in line. To facilitate this, it is essential for the administration to revise the waiting list regulations, easing the current rules and taking into account early resignations for positions such as JE, FAA, JKPSI, VLW, Stock Assistant, and others.

@OfficeOfLGJandK we respectfully request your urgent attention to the crisis of mass resignations arising from the overlapping recruitment process started in Sep 2023. consider waitlisted candidates for the vacated positions, upholding the principles of merit and fairness @diprjk
We implore the @OfficeOfLGJandK to heed the plea of #meritorious candidates on the #waitinglist. They have toiled day and night. We urge you to consider #resignations, as other states/UTs in India do, and bring relief to these deserving candidates and their families. @diprjk
@OfficeOfLGJandK#HappyBirthday, Hon'ble #LG of J&K! Your dedication to youth empowerment is inspiring. Please consider #amending waiting list rules to address mass resignations and vacant positions. Your intervention will benefit youth and promote merit. #considerresignations
