Year 6's project this term has been 'Maafa' - a mature project looking Britain's involvement in the sugar and slave trade. The children have approached it with sensitivity and great thought using The Docklands Museum in London to bring together all their learning.

We love celebrating children's successes here at Battle and we couldn't be prouder of these three Year 6 children who have been selected for grammar schools across Berkshire having completed rigorous testing against children from all over the county. Well done!

Year 6 have found out just how cool Shakespeare can be.  Rapspeare (aka Adrian) from Bigfoot Arts Education provided an amazing workshop bringing 'the bard' to life through rap.  Some days in education stay with you for life and this was certainly one of them!
