@richardavsmith Yea that DB <-> DSB reservation API is bad. My guess it's not working in real time and they are working with qoutas. On DSB it's more likely to get a reservation (for the danish side only).
But again Fridays are always busy as you can see.

@richardavsmith 1st class seats are booked weeks in advance, especially on Fridays and Mondays (both directions). The price difference to 2nd is not that steep on cross-border connections. Usually it's a good idea to reserve part of the route to avoid standing the entire trip

For the urbanist that praise Copenhagen:
Usually I have a 1h (23km) bike commute. Bike needs a refit so bus/train it is. That takes me anything from 1-2h and is an unreliable nightmare for over 3 months now. By car it's 20min and it cost me just 30% more than public transport
