* THE PROCESS ITSELF HAS BECOME PUNISHMENT *
When directly asked about the Reservation issue flagged by @themirmujeeb ,@iamsahilparray Javed sb & other activists today, the @CM_JnK gave a long explanation of basically file moving from office to office with no solution in sight
The reservation file has spent more time travelling between offices than being resolved.
Today, OM activists briefed the media, demanding an immediate decision on the file. An entire generation cannot be left hanging while it keeps moving in circles.

Another day, another EWS fraud exposed. A JKAS selection secured through a fraudulent EWS certificate while the candidate’s father draws an annual salary of 8.9 lakh clearly above the 8 lakh eligibility ceiling. This is not just document manipulation. This is the theft of a deserving poor student’s right.
If entry into administration begins with fraud, what kind of governance can people expect?
Merit is not being defeated by competition anymore.
It is being murdered by manipulation.

I filed an RTI on a JKAS EWS selection and the reply I got will shock you. The candidate’s family income as per official records is 7,79,000 just 21,000 short of the 8 lakh ceiling. Their house is 2,800 square feet but divided among 4 brothers so it qualifies. And the father? A Senior Revenue Official posted in the very same tehsil that issued the EWS certificate. This is not a coincidence. This is how the powerful steal from the poor. Share this. #JKAS #EWSFraud #RTI #JammuKashmir
"Sources, however, revealed that the MHA has raised question on data used by the UT Govt to reduce reservation for the EWS from 10 percent to 3 percent.While there was no word from the govt the sources said it is in the process of replying to the query."

We waited. We trusted the promises. We believed the subcommittee would finally bring justice to students. But today it feels like all of it was just a way to buy time and silence the outrage.
Years of hard work, sleepless nights, sacrifices of families reduced to file movements and political tactics. This was never just about reservation. This was about the future of an entire generation in J&K.
And honestly students deserved better.
We are betrayed.
A little birdie tells me that CM sahib called on the Home Minister recently.
And the photo that emerged out of the meeting was CM sahib like an overexcited marathoner grinning from ear to ear, handing over a bouquet, ostensibly congratulating the BJP for the recent electoral meeting.
In the meeting CM sahib apparently complained about the time taken for clearing the Reservation file. And apparently yet again CM sahib was informed that the file has been despatched 3 weeks back. Nobody it seems told CM sahib.
And yet again, yet again apparently the Centre has queried as to how the sub Committe came to the conclusions that have been forwarded.
Very humbly may I state. I had asked the same question in assembly and asserted that there is no evidence of research. The recommendations
sent should have been a research backed document based on scientific evidence.
Anyways. God bless those who voted them to power 🤔
Paying intern doctors 12k/month is an insult to their dignity. If a doctor who heals the nation is treated this way what message does it send?
Why is the intern doctor treated worse than a daily wage labourer?
@OmarAbdullah@OfficeOfLGJandK@sakinaitoo
An MBBS intern in J&K earns around ₹12,300 despite working 24–36 hour duties, while interns in many other states receive 2–4 times higher stipends.
Equal work deserves fair pay.
Please hear our genuine demand.
#HikeMBBSInternStipend@OmarAbdullah@CM_JnK
J&K MBBS interns work day and night in hospitals, handle emergencies, patient care, wards, casualty duties and still receive one of the lowest stipends in the country.
We deserve dignity,not exploitation.
#HikeMBBSInternStipend@CM_JnK@OfficeOfLGJandK _ @MoHFW_INDIA@sakinaitoo
It has been a long wait for the medical fraternity. Thy have been raising genuine demands for a significant amount of time now. We earnestly request the Hble @sakinaitoo to kindly look into this matter personally &ensure a swift resolution.
@OfficeOf_LGJandK @JKMedicalAsso
MBBS interns in J&K are the backbone of hospital services -working 24–36 hour duties,managing wards, emergencies & patient care with dedication.Yet our stipend remains unfairly low compared to other states. We seek dignity,fairness and timely revision of stipend.
@OmarAbdullah
I filed an RTI seeking information regarding an allegedly fraudulent EWS certificate. The irony is that the authorities already have the complete record of the application, verification documents, approvals and issuance details but instead of sharing the information sought under RTI, they chose to explain how the portal works. This clearly shows the problem is not availability of records, but unwillingness to disclose them.
When transparency becomes selective, RTI turns into a mere formality.
A fake certificate. A Twitter complaint. A DC’s order. And then silence for 3 years. In 2023 a complaint was posted on X (Twitter) by Mr Vijay Thakur alleging that a person had secured a selection in JKAS list using a fake certificate in Ramban district of J&K. The then Deputy Commissioner Ramban took cognizance of the matter and formally directed the Sub Divisional Magistrate X to examine the complaint and submit a detailed report at the earliest. The report was submitted on 23.08.2023.
Fast forward to 2026 as I filed an RTI to find out what happened next.
The reply?
. Certified copy of the report DENIED
. File notings and correspondence DENIED
. Action taken on the report “Final action will be taken on conclusion”
. Status of enquiry “Currently under enquiry/investigation”
Three years. Zero action and the accused is still serving in the government as an officer. The irony is hard to miss , the person allegedly appointed on a fake certificate continues to draw a government salary while the inquiry conveniently remains ongoing. Sources suggest the individual enjoys strong family backing which perhaps explains why this case has moved nowhere in three years.
Section 8(1)(h) of the RTI Act exists to protect genuine investigations not to shield the powerful from accountability.
This is exactly what accountability failure looks like in J&K’s administrative system.
