@GerontologyMike Being optimistic abaut @GenerationLab_ perhaps a weekly IGF-1 pulse, combined with a transient “clearing” blocked of pro-aging blood factors, should not be equated with chronically elevated GH-especially if the effect appears to be modulated by the age of the treatment recipient
@alinaruisu@GerontologyMike This new received through @antonioregalado has been one of the most exciting in the field of longevity. Hopefully, it's the first real step in @aubreydegrey 's "Longevity Escape Velocity". I hope regulatory requirements will soon allow you to share details not just privately 🤞

@aubreydegrey@GenerationLab_@davidasinclair I’ve spent hours going down the rabbit hole with ChatGPT on steroids, trying to reverse-engineer Generation Lab’s mystery two-drug longevity combo.
Our current bet: heparin (or a heparinoid) + sermorelin.
No inside info. Pure detective work. Let’s see how badly this ages. 😅

@chydorina 3/3 One last clue I like: sermorelin was commercially discontinued, apparently not for safety/efficacy reasons.
An old, known drug that isn’t readily available is a useful obstacle for copycats when your moat is a secret 2-drug combo.
Pure speculation — I’m an economist...
@chydorina 2/3 So we moved one step upstream:
Sermorelin → pituitary → endogenous GH pulse → ↑IGF-1.
Heparin/heparinoids can bind or modulate multiple circulating signaling proteins.
Our model: remove some of the systemic brakes + pulse the body’s own repair accelerator.

@aubreydegrey@a66mike99@GenerationLab_@davidasinclair Events with real data for experts like Aubrey—I love that, and I'm not being sarcastic. I hope it goes quickly, is successful, and that the price doesn't end up being unaffordable!!!
@a66mike99@BeEthernals@GenerationLab_@davidasinclair Ah, apologies - when I said anecdotes I was not referring to that - I was referring to actual physiological data (blood work etc) that was discussed at the event a few days ago - I called it anecdotal only because it is not yet published and it's only a few people.
@BeEthernals@GenerationLab_@davidasinclair The main thing is that there will probably be a standard clinical trial very soon. It needs to happen quickly, for commercial reasons (see Regalado's mention of the FDA approval system for combos of already-approved things). The anecdotal reports are impressive, but let's see.
@bryan_johnson, you used Irina Conboy's theories by replacing blood plasma with your son's help... Are you aware of how Generation Lab's research is progressing? What do you think?
