I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining OpenAI and look forward to working with the exceptional team there.
It was a difficult decision to move on. I’m incredibly proud of the amazing team at Google and everything we’ve built together. It has been an honor and a pleasure to work with all of you.
$NVDA has $118B of authorized share buybacks it’s ready to put to work (and much more on the way)
That’s a tremendous amount of consistent buying pressure on the stock
If the Street doesn’t want to buy it, Nvidia will buy it itself
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
@CeleritasRe Yes DC comms power & optics, everything ATE going into testers for HBM/SoC, mgmt. disclosed 20% bucket of both last call. Margin argument you got there on TI, but not ready to dive into that torque until they flush like 2 Qs of inventory
Mythos appears to be the first class of models trained at scale on Blackwells. Then will be Vera Rubins. Pre-training isn't saturated. RL works. And there is *so much* computing coming online soon.
Buckle your chin strips. It's going to be fucking wild.
I think there's still pain in Software to come.
@satyanadella told you that you have to be willing to halve margins to address this much larger opportunity.
I don't think most software companies will be able to pivot. You need:
1/ the willingness to take gross margins down to build agents and end-to-end workflows that actually don't break and handle context limits
2/ the talent to do it and get the tooling right
3/ the will to disrupt your own pricing model (worse impact to OP than perp license -> subscription in the near term).
Very few of these can or will do all three at once.
We have raised a $110 billion round of funding from Amazon, NVIDIA, and SoftBank.
We are grateful for the support from our partners, and have a lot of work to do to bring you the tools you deserve.
ANT/INTU partnership is what market going to look like for next 5 years or so. What does INTU want? Control of the data. What does ANT want? Distribution and access to that data in runtime.
