In all the many empirical studies of motor challenges in autism, not one has turned up any empirical evidence for motor-based difficulties in pointing to pictures.
That's why you'll only hear FC proponents assert, w/o evidence, that autistic kids can't reliably point the things.

Ppl with autism don't have trouble pointing to stationary pictures

Read what the motor research actually says. Start w/ the references in IACC's own document. Skilled motor movements are challenging for some ppl w/ autism. There's zero evidence for difficulties with pointing, initiation, picking up laminated pictures, or "getting into a car"(!)

IACC should be funding interventions that target actual communication challenges in autism; not interventions that target imaginary motor challenges.
