I’ll take those statistics with a huge grain of salt.

I’m a 64 year old gay male, who came out of my closet as a 19 year old in 1983, and I have tried to act as a safe role model since then.

My first sexual experience was when I was 19 years of age; then with a much older guy, and since it is punishable by law to have sex with anyone younger than 16 years of age; and then only with the consent of their parents until they’re 18 years old, when they are considered as adults, I find it particularly suspicious that these so called “facts” should have any root in reality.

At least not in any reality that I’m familiar with or aware of.

As all the people that I have spoken with—who have admitted to having had sex with adults while they themselves were children—have told me that the ones who thanked yes to fuck them while they were young, were the people that they lost all their respect for when they themselves finally grew up, and discovered what they had been exposed to.

And the people who thanked no, but still treated them with dignity and respect, were the ones that they kept as friends for life.

Which makes it even less tempting to give in to such advanced from minors.

In addition to that, I had a mother who worked as a psychiatrist specializing in treating sexually abused children and their abusers; that mostly were abused as children themselves, I got all of her hideous stories about the children and survivors that she worked with.

I’ve also been arrested by (the eternal spiritual sum of everything and us all, that perceives everything through being everything and us all, and who sees to it that we all equally automatically receive three times as much of every exact feeling from everybody else that we stumble upon giving to each other; the One that I manage to neither species- nor gender define, but still presume to call) God during a suicide attempt as an 18-year old in Easter 1981, and forced to realize how everything and everyone only are to be considered as our own equally sacred versions of the over Itself almighty creators of everything that happens here, through what we at any time choose to believe possible, so that God can create it before our very eyes.

And as such it is not tempting to me to give anyone secrets that needs to be kept for life. And especially not children.

Call me deranged if you wish, I don’t care what people choose to assume about me, as long as what God knows is all that matters to me.
