I’m seeing more discourse surrounding C especially people saying it produces “buggy code”.
Homies, please sit down, self reflect think about the bugs you see in software daily, usually they are logic bugs the language choice is irrelevant, blame shitty insane frameworks instead.
Don’t sleep on picking up amazing talent from a cancelled project.
Nichola is a fantastic designer & multidisciplinary she would be an amazing addition to any team!
Looking for my next chapter!
Due to the cancellation of the unannounced project and the unfortunate layoffs, I am now looking for a new opportunity in the games industry.
Hoping to branch into game design or softpoly 3D artistry!💙

Guys, why do some GameDevs keep making their own engines? It's such a waste of time! Wouldn't be better to just use an already made engine ? There are so many free and even Open Source engines out there!
From the iconic Gromit mug, to the viral Feathers McGraw water bottle, Licensing Approvals Coordinator @btownsend1997 and Creative Consultant Sophie Bloomfield talked to @BrandsUntapped about developing successful Wallace & Gromit products: https://t.co/fGoHNlECOk

Great work by the @UsePenrose team building Bloom: a lightweight way to make interactive diagrams: https://t.co/He3YRCmbmy
All coordinates are automatically figured out by the Penrose layout engine, and diagram specifications can be re-used for different content (like HTML/CSS).
I haven't had much to post lately about my duck game. But I have something BIG👀 coming this week. Until then, enjoy some peaceful ducky firefly collecting ☺️

Programmer to farmer metamorphosis is just as natural as caterpillar to butterfly. It probably makes no sense to most of observers, and novice programmers, but those with enough experience know it's the obvious path, and are joyful when they discover someone who made this leap.
@voxagonlabs I will note that using STL containers when prototyping a feature does come with a refactor cost. so I tend to try and weigh up the pros and cons of the faster code iteration.
It usually ends up with me writing better code as the second time around I know the problem space.
@voxagonlabs I often use the STL when writing offline tools & prototyping a feature i.e when memory fragmentation & breakneck perf is less of a concern
In engine code I mainly use C / custom types along with custom allocators as I know the lifetime & perf requirements of the code I'm writing
So like.. can someone explain to me what is even remotely interesting about watching a AI / fake skate video.
In my mind it totally undermines what is fantastic about extreme sports.
