Father,

I come before You with no mask and no pretense. Just me. Flawed. Worn. Honest.

You see every hidden corner of my heart. The parts I show others and the parts I keep locked away in shame. You know the thoughts I pretend not to think, the bitterness I nurse, and the doubts I try to silence. You see it all. And still, You stay. That alone brings me to my knees.

God, I confess that I have tried to be strong in my own strength. I’ve chased control instead of surrender. I’ve clung to pride, even when it left me empty. I’ve called You Lord with my lips while living like I’m the one on the throne.

But You are God, and I am not.

So here I am. No more hiding. No more pretending. Just a soul desperate to be real with You.

Search me, Father, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends You and lead me in the path everlasting (Psalm 139:23–24). Break down every wall I’ve built against You. Tear up the roots of sin that still cling to the soil of my life. Heal the places that are still bleeding.

Give me a heart that longs for holiness more than comfort. A heart that fears being distant from You more than anything this world could throw at me.

Restore in me a joy that is not circumstantial. A faith that is not fake. A hunger for Your Word that outshines every empty pleasure. And when I fall short…because I will…remind me again of the cross, the blood, the mercy that never runs dry.

You are still good. Still faithful. Still God.

And I am still Yours.
