Apparently, Gen Museveni called the Archbishop and ordered him to cancel the prayers. This is bizarre!
Nonetheless, we sang hymns and prayed on our own. May God hear our petitions.

Today, Comrade . Waiswa Mufumbiro was remanded to Luzira Prison. My heart is heavy because I truly understand what his wife is going through. I remember vividly what my own family endured when our home was raided days without sleep, waking up in the middle of the night tormented by the memories of over 50 armed men surrounding the house, with my young son crying in fear.

Tonight, I can only imagine the pain and sleeplessness his wife will face. No family should ever have to go through such trials.
In these moments, I have learned to turn to prayer. I call upon the Holy Spirit, who knows our deepest pain and understands our strongest burdens, to comfort and uphold Mrs.Waiswa . May she find peace in the storm, strength in her weakness, and hope for tomorrow.
