I'm starting this year the same way I ended the last one—with hope.
The road ahead may be challenging, but 2025 showed us that change is possible when we stand together.
So let's carry our energy forward. Let's keep pushing, keep holding our leaders accountable, and make progress in the fight to save lives. Together, we’ll build the safer future we all deserve – I am sure of it.
Every woman, I repeat, every woman of every age, every color, every political affiliation should condemn this, should raise their voice about this, should be terrified about this. Just a few short months ago women’s health advocates were optimistic for the first time in generations, today we should be alarmed. Women’s health research cannot afford to be cancelled like this, our lives are on the line.

Proud of my dad. He waited after midnight to testify. If you know him, you know he wouldn’t disappoint ! He met the moment as he always does. Call your local rep today! #skunk#Accountability#notconservative
Trump’s cuts aren’t just numbers on a budget—they’re real jobs, real families, and real harm to vital services. This week on Assembly Required, we're joined by @AFLCIO's @LizShuler to break down how these mass firings will backfire—and how we can support our workforce. Listen & take action! https://t.co/rqkwJy8ykh
Mr. President, Ukraine did not “start” this war. Russia launched an unprovoked and brutal invasion claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. The Road to Peace must be built on the Truth.🇺🇸🇺🇦

"The paradox of wisdom: True confidence comes from being strong enough to admit you might be wrong.
Four questions that changed my perspective on intellectual humility, via Warren Berger's brilliant work. Being wrong isn't failure—it's the first step toward being right."
I've had the honor of knowing David Brooks for years. I admire him and have been deeply moved, informed, inspired, and bettered by his books and talks.
He was a Republican when I met him. I don't know his party affiliation now. What I do know is he has always been a man of virtue, objective reasoning, pragmatism, wisdom, and invaluable insights.
What he states here is painful and true.
I will continue to fight to stop this awful reality undermining good governance and causing such awful impact on dedicated public servants who are doing vital work for our safety, strength and national security.
In a distracted world, the most underrated leadership skill is listening.
144 studies, 155k people: Good listeners have deeper bonds and better results. We feel valued, and they get smarter.
Great leaders are devoted learners. A key to learning is to listen more than you talk.
It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.
The reason given in no way justifies why the newspaper would abdicate its role in informing and guiding voters as it has done in making endorsements in other key races this year, and as it has done in endorsing the candidates who were running against Trump in both 2016 and 2020.
The Washington Post’s decision to withhold an endorsement that had been written & approved in an election where core democratic principles are at stake was a terrible mistake & an insult to the paper’s own longstanding standard of regularly endorsing candidates since 1976.
As of yesterday, I have decided to resign from my role as a columnist for The Washington Post — a newspaper that I love. In a moment like this, everyone needs to make their own decisions. This is the reasonfor mine. 🧵
Happy Birthday, @KamalaHarris!
Thank you for bringing compassion, decency, and joy to our politics. I’m honored to be in this fight with you, and I couldn’t be prouder to call you my friend.
Real masculinity defends women, it doesn’t degrade them
Real masculinity punches up, not down.
Real masculinity defends those who need it, doesn’t defend tyrants
Real masculinity builds people up, doesn’t tear them down
Real masculinity isn’t loud, it’s quiet confidence
Real masculinity doesn’t whine and complain, it bears burdens
Right now, Texas’ Senate race couldn’t be closer. And we’re going to win.
Colin Allred has what it takes to defeat Ted Cruz, but he needs help fighting back against the $34.1 MILLION in attack ads Cruz and his allies just launched. Will you chip in to defeat Ted Cruz?
Happy birthday to my friend @KamalaHarris! She has spent her life fighting on behalf of people who need a voice and a chance—now it’s our turn to help elect her as our next president. Make sure you're ready to vote at https://t.co/NKXRGNgbZX.
