@chrissyfarr I’m working on RCM software and payer provider interop pipes and I frickin love it, like everyday 😍. People that are really about health tech find meaning working where the action is. 5 years ago that was EHR clinical workflow optimization. Today it’s health tech meets fintech.
Thanks for the recognition @CedarNY - a lot of great teamwork across the full @CBinsights HC team went into our big tech in healthcare analysis. Proud to be named among the greats on this list.

@AshleyGWinter I’m not sure what health system you’re with but if you mention this to your CMIO they should be able to suppress that alert. Alert fatigue is real and clinical decision support alerts can (and should) be fine tuned based on input from users.
@AshleyGWinter They’re ok, this is just army culture. When I was in we slept on floors, in chairs, leaned up against each other in piles. I knew a kid that hid in his wardrobe to sneak extra sleep. They were prob all issued camping pads and sleeping bags but that’s a lot of bulky shit to carry.
@chrissyfarr Wasn’t this the idea behind the US digital service that was launched to fix https://t.co/3uaca87z0N? That office did survive under Trump but I do not know what they work on now. They were never meant to be solely hc focused, just a place for great tech minds to work in govt.
@chrissyfarr Called my kids around to chat about it and ask questions. They had an endless stream of them, but found the fact that adults were running out with lamps and podiums hilarious. As they laughed, I laughed too because, I mean, that IS funny - so that levity got us all through.
@chrissyfarr Walter Cronkite’s take on this still rings true: “America's health care system is neither healthy, caring, nor a system.” We have the technology to improve outcomes and reduce costs, but we lack the financial alignment needed to get the business cases approved.
@PaddyPadmanabha It will be interesting to see how digital strategy adjusts to accommodate an increasingly fractured brick and mortar care continuum during a period where consumers remain reluctant to return to traditional places of service. Thanks for sharing your insights.
@PaddyPadmanabha Great predictions @PaddyPadmanabha. I've begun calling 2021 a year of digital optimization rather than digital transformation for many of the reasons you call out. I'm also predicting 2021 will bring strong growth in house calls and workplace clinics as key new care centers.
Excited to share brand new research co-authored with on how traditional #healthIT technologies are being used to reopen workplaces during the pandemic, starting at 12:45 ET here at #ForrTech.
US federal agents (HHS/FBI/CISA) issue a joint cybersecurity alert to US hospitals warning of a recent uptick in ransomware attacks. Experts with Mandiant, a cybersecurity firm, said they identified at least three attacks on Tuesday and one on Wednesday.

Every time Alphabet takes a meaningful step forward in healthcare, they take two steps back over dumb patient data privacy decisions. These missteps are baffling. https://t.co/a5nss9bgsK
