@AidanAuthor Love this so, so, so much. I fully credit a HV with saving the life of my 2nd baby, using her paediatric nursing & HV experience to recognise what was wrong before it was too late. 15 years later I saw her at a training event to thank for my very alive teen & inspiring my career.

@EmilyRTurner @muddy_gas_doc This! NICU nurse & HV here so seen the worst in one role and bigger picture in the other. Wanted a HB with this baby as felt safer (much better staffing & v. close to main hospital). Obv every situation is different however evidence shows HB is often safer... 1/2
