@davepl1968 @ConvenerNatureP In my part of the world we frequently have 120 F swings in temp. That’s 4 ft per mile unrestricted. Expansion joints don’t solve this alone, forcing temp changes into axial stress does. When the stress gets too high, it goes places you don’t want.

Tim Pool recently discussed a Gillian Michaels 360 event to make the point that it's healthier to not carry extremely excessive weight. I experience her opposition in restaurants as I get older. I'm 50 give or take and I don't need 4000 calories a day anymore. Servers and restaurant owners are offended if I take much of my meal home to finish over the next day or two, and I do usually finish it. It happens a LOT, and it's becoming annoying. Why do I have to overeat to make you feel better? The food is great, I'm just full so I stopped. I didn't ask you for a plate that would feed a family of five.
