@dustyWayneJr @UnchartedX1 @chrispdunn Trekking a few hours up the mountain on the other side of the valley from Ollantaytambo, you come across a vast quarry for the site and a plethora of stone slats. We'd be interested to get some insight into them as well. A lot of imagery was captured here for our VR app.

The fortress of Ollantaytambo has some of the most polished and reflective stone work of the ancient world. Even joints between stones appear to have been vitrified as if coated in a thin reflective layer. Our app allows you take as close a look as you like. #beforeourtime

One of the most famous types of stone work throughout Peru are the numerous carved altars crafted into natural bedrock. There's varying theories about their origins and purpose, but their precision makes it clear: the ancient builders were absolute masters of masonry.

Megalithic walls are found throughout Peru, and are often made of interlocking polygonal stones. The wall here is part of a site known as Zone X, which houses a vast series of caves. Our app lets you explore both the caves and their carvings for yourself. #beforeourtime

Curved carvings into the bedrock at Q'enco Chico display some of the smoothest shaped stone work in Peru. Photogrammetry for this area required over 9000 photos and lets you view the minute details of the stone texture in our VR app. #beforeourtime
