Decided to use public transport in the #MumbaiMonorail early this morning, accessing it via the Athre Nagar station and had one of the most scary and humiliating experiences ever!

➡️ NO SIDEWALK to access the station
➡️ Bikes parked on both sides including at the entrance
➡️ Garbage, dirt, muck and paan spits everywhere
➡️ Human shower water flowing all over and stinking

Don’t know how young girls, women and senior citizens can use this. And at night, its beyond belief…

In the station:
➡️ No smart card
➡️ Pay by cash only
➡️ No QR app to pay and move
