CALLING ALL MANAGERS: What are you doing in May to help women in your team become even better collaborators and leaders? Here's a brilliant option: @WACL1#FestivalofTalent Book now https://t.co/jkKqL7UqUz
Such a good graphic from @FT on the difference between a climate warming of 1.5C and 2C
On many of the metrics like crop yields, species loss, heatwaves, the impacts don't just go up a little, they double

@HarrisFanaroff If she has back ache, she can use her TENS machine on the lowest setting. I had a slipped disc during my pregnancy and found this really useful to take the edge off the pain
Interesting @bbc4#antisocial focused on #autism, incl how reasonable adjustments work (ie case by case) - we are well beyond time for more holistic policy changes - often what might be a reasonable business case for a community of people isn’t for any one individual #Diversity
This is pretty exciting. Portugal has agreed to write off €12m of debt to Cape Verde. In exchange, the West African archipelago will put the money in a climate & environment fund to invest in the energy transition and prepare for impacts.

Happy 2023 to the bison herd released into ancient Kent woodland to act as eco-system engineers. By de-barking trees, dust-bathing and creating woodland corridors they will enable wildlife to thrive. #WilderBlean#susty https://t.co/10tS0WcRuJ
Today is my 32nd birthday.
Over the last month, I asked several 90-year-olds what advice they would give to their 32-year-old selves.
Here's the life advice everyone needs to hear:
"France will require all parking lots with spaces for at least 80 vehicles – both existing and new – to be covered by solar panels." That would add 10 nuclear reactors worth of solar.
How much solar power would be generated if such a law passed in the US? https://t.co/Kk5qm6JvwQ
❗️We are living a HISTORIC moment.
🌱Governments just adopted the Kunming-Montreal Global #Biodiversity Framework.
This landmark agreement #ForNature aims at halting & reversing biodiversity loss by 2030.

France has been given the green light to ban short haul domestic flights. They can do this because the trains are so good.
Also, they aim to get 9% of the population on bicycles by 2024 (up from 3%; the Netherlands is at 27%).

Headed to a pub or bar to watch the game tonight? 🇺🇲🇬🇧
One of the most difficult things for those who are hard of hearing or experience hearing loss is keeping up with conversations in crowded spaces. XRAI Glass helps you cut through the noise – so you can catch every moment. ⚽
@JonBall@EalingStudios This will bring in jobs and visitors to the Borough. From a sustainability point of view, it would be interesting to know whether across its new lifespan, redevelopment or new build is for carbon efficient. I would imagine the latter in this case.
@JonBall@EalingStudios While it is sad to lose some of the original buildings, these won’t now be fit for purpose for film/TV today. Studio space is globally in very short supply, as content budgets have exploded. This will mean that Ealing can continue to be the home to brilliant new content.
This picture of my daughter doing the #GettyChallenge during the first #COVID lockdown just came up on my phone. Seeing this was a lovely reminder that even in times of great darkness, people have the power to create moments of light. Thank you @GettyMuseum
