Yep, I’m gay. Out since 1997. My opinions are my own. Likes often just mean "I want to read this later." Screenshots yes; quote-tweeting trolls no. Same on 🦋
Funny irony on this one is that Presler's GOP operative colleagues in PA pushed that conspiracy that a home of Benedictine nuns was Dem voter fraud in the runup to the 2024 election because so many elderly women were registered at one address.
The @GOP must be thrilled that 11 days before elections, we learn that the Trump family secretly orchestrated a deal to allow Russians to drill Alaska in exchange for a $25 billion "investment" funneled through their proxies.
Russians invaded Ukraine because they were imminently threatened by the idea of Ukraine joining an organization that would make it harder for them to invade Ukraine.
All this weird overreaction does is tell you the Shapiro ads in state senate races are very effective and @PASenateGOP are on the defense after 32 years of failure.
PA Dems are on offense and fighting for the people, not one billionaire donor and their corporate lobbyist pals.
Scott Presler in July, on 500+ voters registered at a 100-bed homeless shelter: "Preserve your records. Game on."
The Bulwark found Scott’s. GOP operatives from other states voted from his Pennsylvania house, and his own FEC donations since 2024 list a family home in Virginia.
One of them, Sept. 2024: "Moved to Pennsylvania JUST to vote for Trump."
Six days after the election: "driving to Oklahoma tomorrow."
Every accusation is truly a confession

Absolutely reprehensible. I met with veterans this morning who told me they're disgusted by this statement from the president.
Our servicemembers put their lives on the line for our country and we must honor our contract to care for them. Threatening to take that away based on the results of an election is un-American.
Trump talks about putting our military service members lives in grave danger like others talk about going out for a beer after work. They deserve more respect than this reckless lunatic fool.
This clip is going viral and for good reason. @wallaceforpa is running an incredible race here in Pennsylvania and fearlessly holding her opponent accountable even in a red district. If the bottom really deeply falls out for @PAGOP, this is one to watch.
AES is certainly a case-study in a more factional left candidate running statewide in a swing state.
But I think it's also worth noting that he's:
-Calling himself a capitalist and a patriot
-Not adopting the Bernie M4All bill
-Not talking about climate change
Hot take here but I think this is good expectation-setting. There's a lot they can do -- which the article lays out re: accountability, reverse Trump's harm, etc -- but we need people to be clear-eyed about what is and is not possible until 2029.
As abuse allegations rock incumbent Rep. Max Miller, Republicans are trying to depict his Democratic opponent, Brian Poindexter, as a drug-using criminal. I compared their police records… and uncovered another, previously unreported, incident in which Miller ran from police.

No one can survive in 2026 making $7.25 an hour. Let me put that in real terms: If you work a 40-hour work week, that’s a little over $15,000 a year. That’s not sustainable.
Despite that fact, another legislative session has come and gone — and while the House has voted repeatedly to raise the minimum wage, Republicans in the State Senate left town again and refused to even bring a minimum wage bill up for a vote.
It’s not okay. It’s time to raise the minimum wage in Pennsylvania.
In the wake of the Trump administration and House Republicans’ cuts to health care funding, I'm committed to fighting to restore funding for Medicaid and Affordable Care Act coverage and to defend protections for people with pre-existing conditions like cancer.
#BreastCancerAwarenessMonth
Instead of lowering costs, Trump cut health care, gave tax breaks to billionaires, and started another forever war.
It’s no wonder the American people are feeling terrible about this economy — and they are right.
