@zerohedge If news outlets are going to continue publishing every BS quote from Trump’s mouth about being close to a peace deal, then it should be followed with a disclaimer like this one.
They stopped using subscriber revenue to buy $HNT so I highly doubt they will be using proceeds to buy tokens. Amir said the following on 1/2/26:
“I’d rather we use that money to grow the business than pour it into a hole.”
Unsurprisingly, since the CEO of @helium described spending money on $HNT as a waste of money, the token has gone from $1.64 on January 2nd, to $0.63 today.
@tparsi I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump gave his approval to passing a War Powers Resolution so he can claim he’s powerless to restart the war and then he can use congress as an excuse for his own failures.
There’s definitely been a shift, but is it strange? If you take a step back and take a look at the arc of this conflict I don’t think that it is strange.
After the US/Israel unilaterally attacked Iran in June 2025 and again in February 2026, Iran had a recognized right to retaliate. They withstood the attacks by the US/Israel and struck back harder than most thought possible. While actively engaged in combat, the closing of the SOH was both predictable, and understandable. During active combat, I ran proved to have escalation dominance.
Since the agreement of the cease-fire, Iran has lost some of its leverage so long as the US and Israel do not resume attacks in any significant way. If I ran were to begin attacking the US/Israel, or close the Bab El-Mandeb straight at this time, they would be viewed as the aggressor rather than the victim.
I think the analysis has changed because the circumstances have changed drastically. It was a strategic mistake for the Iranians to agree to the cease-fire at a time when the Israeli’s and US were running out of interceptors. The truth is Iran doesn’t have much leverage now as long as they aren’t attacked again.
You seem to be confusing Helium, the decentralized network, with Helium Mobile (private venture, separate entity and governance).
AT&T and TMobile use the Helium network. Should “the community” be allowed to vote on whether AT&T or TMobile use the Helium network, or buy another company? Obviously not.
Quite honestly, if your grasp of the dynamics between Helium and Helium Mobile is this weak, YOU shouldn’t have a say in any of it.

@WilliamRossX_@acouplenomads More traffic is by definition good. I’m just saying it’s like Dell signing a deal with Luddite University. It’s not going to move the stock price much.
I struggle to see how this could possibly help the HNT token. Helium hodlers benefit from data offload and transferring as much data through the network as possible. Now Helium Mobile has been purchased by a company whose raison d'etre is to reduce data usage by subscribers…
🚨 Big news: Helium Mobile has been acquired by @andrewyang's @joinnoblemobile
Noble Mobile shares our core belief that connectivity should be affordable and accessible for every American. By joining forces, we can deliver on that promise for more people than either of us could alone, with an unrelenting commitment to putting money back in your pocket.
As part of the deal, Noble Mobile will also use the Helium Network, expanding coverage for all of its subscribers across the US.
Current Helium Mobile subscribers: your phone number and service aren't going anywhere. We've built this transition to be seamless, with the same nationwide 5G and Helium Network coverage you experience today.

"Late Kakistocracy" is that phase of democratic decline where the regime starts running out of ppl who will work for it, and so the folks who aren't qualified for their current positions are promoted to even larger positions for which they are even more unqualified
Their absence of self-awareness is a serious pathology. They just killed 3k civilians (really, civilians) and are complaining that their invading soldiers are facing some risks WHILE INVADING.
Just kind of left speechless at an invading army whining to the United Nations that the people they are invading — and killing their civilians by the thousands — are fighting back. This is a mystifying level of lack of self awareness
A typical 2-slice electric toaster uses about 0.04–0.08 kWh per batch. A propane stovetop toaster over a gas burner typically uses about 0.15–0.35 kWh equivalent (500–1,200 BTU) for the same 2 slices. In other words, the propane setup usually consumes 3–8× more energy, because much of the heat warms the stove, metal, and surrounding air instead of just the bread.
