My PhD was less than ideal (switched labs 4-5yrs in when everyone else was graduating to start completely fresh in a new field) and I still couldn’t agree more w/ Jason. My experience doing this and working/hiring across academia and industry has only reinforced how much I value those who actually learned how to learn (beyond the credential). We DEFINTIELY could do graduate education so much better and it’s gotten way off track IMO, but I also still strongly recommend
After over a year of incubating, I’m excited to share a new project inspired by a ~decade of in vivo drug discovery experience 🧬
